Chakachak e-Pathshala

Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) continues to be a severe problem in India due to its poor management. Issues from collection of waste till its disposal, cities are struggling to address the prevailing bottlenecks, with an additional barrier of daily increase in quantum of waste generated. To better understand the existing MSW models, to find out effective and efficient ways to overcome the hurdles, Chakachak e-Pathshala has been designed to build a holistic understanding on Solid Waste Management.

‘Chakachak e-Pathshala’ is a free e- learning course launched by HCL Foundation under its Clean Noida initiative. The course comprises a series of five episodes covering a wide range of topics, including evolution of SWM, effective plastic waste management, case studies on the impacts on public health and environment and of course the applied solutions.

Interested individuals can enrol for free. Upon successful completion of the course by scoring atleast 70% against each test, a certificate of completion will be sent automatically to the registered email address.

Monthly stationary voucher worth 250 INR will be given to the top 50 participants upon scoring 85% and above.
